Instructions for Use
Handling:
- Handle the KRC102S with care to avoid mechanical damage.
- Use appropriate ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection measures.
Mounting:
- Ensure the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) is clean and free from contaminants.
- Place the capacitor on the PCB using standard SMD placement equipment.
- Apply solder paste or flux as required.
- Reflow solder according to the recommended temperature profile:
- Preheat: 150°C to 180°C for 60 to 90 seconds.
- Soak: 180°C to 210°C for 60 to 90 seconds.
- Peak: 230°C to 250°C for 10 to 20 seconds.
- Cooling: Rapid cooling to below 100°C within 60 seconds.
Storage:
- Store in a dry, cool environment to prevent moisture absorption.
- Use within 6 months of receipt for optimal performance.
Testing:
- Test the assembled PCB to ensure proper functionality.
- Verify capacitance and voltage ratings using a multimeter or capacitance meter.
Disposal:
- Dispose of the capacitor according to local environmental regulations.
- Recycle where possible.
